International festival of food and drinks from Southeast Europe on October 12 in Belgrade-based Continental hotel
The 12th International festival of food and drinks from Southeast Europe, organized by Sacen International, will be held in Continental hotel on October 12 from 11 AM.
This regional festival of the SEE countries will gather famous wine makers and wine cellars, eminent chefs and restaurants, masters of gastronomy and sommeliers, the representatives of tourist destinations from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Greece, as well as guests from diaspora and the media representatives from Serbia and abroad.
One of the special themes of this manifestation is "Wine, Tourism, and Internet". The event will be the occasion for Jovan Bogojevic, the author of CDRMS and XLeco Internet methods and the director of Vienna-based Web Shop City Agency, to present the latest technologies in the application of Internet communications.
The other event will be dedicated to the latest trends of pairing food and wine. Professor Dr. Slobodan Jovic from Belgrade will speak, together with respectable sommeliers, about the types of wine that are paired with certain meals.
The manifestation will be opened at noon by Minister of Agriculture Sasa Dragin. The festival will be ceremoniously opened with the premiere public presentation of the first Serbian champagne - "Trijumf", a product of Aleksandrovic wine cellar.
The entrance to the festival is free.
