Sale of Property of Beobanka Stopped Again – Over 7 Hectares of Land in Central Business Zone of New Belgrade Still Without Owner

The Deposit Insurance Agency, acting according to the decision of the Commercial Court in Belgrade, has stopped the procedure of the sale of the property of Beobanka in bankruptcy, and the sums paid for the purpose of the purchase of the sales documentation and the deposits will be repaid to the bidders, the agency said.

– All the persons who expressed interest during this procedure will be notified of the next sales procedures that are planned, in line with Article 133 of the Law on Bankruptcy Proceedings – the agency says.

This pertains to the sales ad for the property of Nova Livnica in New Belgrade, which was published on December 6, 2021.

The lot included 11 facilities in the central business zone of New Belgrade, with a total area of over 38,000 square meters, which are located on building land parcels totaling 7.37 hectares, as well as equipment.

The biggest facility is the metalworking building – a foundry on 35,400 square meters.

The initial price was EUR 26 million.

Let us remind that the facilities and the equipment on building land parcels of 7.37 hectares were offered in July 2021 as well and that the ad was cancelled the same month by decision of the Commercial Court.

Nearby, the company ABL Solvent bought the business complex IMT last month.
