Regulation adopted on measures and conditions for return, freeing or reduction of compensation for environmental pollution in Serbia
In the Official Bulletin of Republic of Serbia, no. 113/2005 of December 20, 2005, the Regulation has been published on measures and conditions for return, freeing or reduction of compensation for environmental pollution. One of the rules is that the money can be returned/reduced if the investor intends to invest it in the Program for adapting of work of existing units to regulated conditions; if the reduced emmision of harmful matters is below the regulated limit; if the production or disposal of waste is reduced; if the waste is exported to be treated or disposed; if the waste is given to treatment... This compensation will not be paid by the users of vehicles powered by electricity or some alternative power sources (hydrogen, bioalcohol), as well as the drivers of ambulances, invalids, the Police, fire brigade, army, owners of old timer vehicles with the certificate issued by the Museum of Automobiles in Belgrade...
