Kuwaitis Renewed the Buying of Shares of AIK Bank
After the end of August, slightly after Kuwaiti investment company has entered into the ownership structure of AIK banka Niš, this government institution last week bought a parcel of shares significantly bigger of this profitable domestic banking institutions.
The main customers of one of the last block of shares owned by AIK Bank are company of Belgrade "Irva Investments", an American investment fund "Templeton" and Kuwaiti investment company that has strengthened its position in the AIK Bank for an additional 20,000 shares.
Kuwaiti investment company is a financial institution under the control of the Ministry of Finance of the State which is responsible for managing the assets of all state funds, mostly generated by selling oil. Kuwaiti investment company is one of the world's largest fund of its kind (assets worth over 200 billion USD), and is known for its significant ownership stakes in many international companies, "Citigroup" (6%), Daimler AG (6.9%) , etc..
