Lowest and Highest Price of MOT Test Set

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia has announced that, at a session of the Government of Serbia, the Decision on setting the price of a MOT test for vehicles was adopted, setting the lowest and highest prices of regular annual technical checks, as well as the highest price of an extraordinary and control technical check.

The lowest price with the VAT for passenger vehicles for that service is RSD 3,070, and the highest is RSD 6,020.

For motorcycles, mopeds and tractors, the price of a MOT test with the VAT will be 2,120 to 4,120 dinars, and for buses, heavy cargo and towed vehicles 6,020 to 11,920 dinars, and when the MOT test for cargo and towed vehicles is done at a driving site, the highest price can be increased by an additional RSD 2,000, the announcement says.

The main reason for the adoption of this decision is the coming into effect of the Law on the Amendments to the Law on Road Traffic Safety, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.

It is added that the decision on the setting of the price of MOT tests is an important part of a set of regulations and that it will prevent misuse in this field of remarkable importance for road traffic safety.
