Serbia to Get Center for Fourth Industrial Revolution – Agreement Signed in Geneva

The agreement on establishing a center of the World Economic Forum for the fourth industrial revolution in Serbia has been signed in Geneva.

According to the website of the Government of Serbia, at the seat of the Forum, the agreement was signed by the director of the Office for Information Technologies and eGovernment of Serbia, Mihailo Jovanovic, and the managing director and head of the Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Jeremy Jurgens.

Said center in Serbia will be the world’s 16th in the network of the centers of the World Economic Forum and the first in the Western Balkans.

The new center will start working on March 1 and it will function as a non-profit organization and a platform for a public-private partnership and cooperation for the fourth industrial revolution, whereas the focus of the activities will be on artificial intelligence and bioengineering.


The center will work within the Office for IT and eGovernment of Serbia, and it will cooperate with science institutes, state institutions and the private sector, it is added.
