Chinese Company Minth Planning to Open Another Factory in Sabac

Following the sale of 11 hectares of building land in the Northwest Industrial Zone in Sabac in 2021, the Chinese company Minth became the owner of an additional 10 hectares of land in this location, where they plan to open a second factory for the production of car parts in August 2023.

– The heads of Minth decided to buy an additional 10 hectares of building land and open another factory in our city. EUR 15 million will be invested in the purchase of land and the construction of a new factory. The expected total investment in a period of 10 years is EUR 46 million – said the mayor of Sabac, Aleksandar Pajic, as announced on the website of the local self-government.

Goran Madzarevic, Assistant to the General Manager of Minth Europe, points out that, at these two factories, Minth would produce metal components for car bodies and employ workers of a wide variety of professions.

– This is the cleanest and most advanced technology, so there will be no harmful environmental impact. The policy of Minth is that only a healthy and satisfied worker is a good worker. We will need a very wide range of professions. We will have a range from non-qualified, semi-qualified workers in the production process, who will go through various training courses, to retrained workers, experts, mechanical and electrical engineers, lawyers, economists and translators for the Chinese language – Madzarevic said.
