According to the latest announcements made by the city authorities, the construction of a new bridge on the Danube at Ada Huja should start this year.
Initially, it was announced that the construction would start in 2020, and then in 2021. Back in 2003, it was envisaged in the General Urban Plan.
The project is prepared and, according to it, as reported by Beobuild, the total length of the bridge is 3,498 meters, and the total width of the structure is 32.5 meters.
The bridge will have three traffic lanes in each direction with a median strip, as well as pedestrian and cycling lanes on both sides.
The designers of the bridge are the consortium of DP Inzenjering Belgrade and the Slovenian studios Ponting and Gradis BP from Maribor.
