State Prepares Special Teams and Program for Protection of Populace and Domestic Economy

The state has formed ten special teams due to the current situation in the world caused by the war in Ukraine and the big jump in prices, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated yesterday.

Vucic told the citizens that energy and commodity reserves had been secured for more than two months, noting that the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) had stored oil reserves for more than two months.

He pointed out that there was no need to panic, that the state was well secured and that, in the next 15 days, all the storage facilities would be filled, which will cost us between 100 million and 115 million euros.

– Our banking sector is 100% secure – Vucic stated and emphasized that the state had over RSD 156 billion, or EUR 1.4 billion, on its account and that there was enough money.

Vucic also stated that Serbia had formed teams for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, for the reception of the wounded and injured from Ukraine, as well as a special team for the reception of refugees, but that it would not participate in the export of weapons or allow weapons for war zones or countries participating in the conflict to pass through our territory, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
