Hungary has already banned the export of wheat, and next week, the Government of Serbia will adopt the same decision, the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said for TV Kurir and added that the export of wheat would only be possible with the government’s permission.

Vucic added that Serbia could not import coke from Ukraine for the steel mill or iron from Russia and that this created problems. He also said that the price of oil was USD 116 per barrel and that people didn’t understand how brutally everything has changed in the world.

He said that the biggest shortage of flour and wheat in the world had been announced, but that there would be enough wheat and flour for Serbia and that people shouldn’t worry about it.

He said that there was not enough powdered milk or palm oil and that sufficient quantities of beans and peas had been imported.
