Sale of Famous Prokupac Advertised – Estimated Value EUR 17.08 Million, There Are Already Interested Parties

The bankruptcy supervisor has advertised the sale of the company Prokupac ad Beograd as a legal entity through the public collection of bids.

According to the ad, the lot consist of the property, rights and claims of the bankruptcy debtor, and the estimated value is around EUR 17.08 million.

Prokupac is a former business giant, with facilities in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, famous for its alcoholic drink brands such as the “Manastirka” and “Stomaklija” rakijas and the “Toplicko Crno” and “Toplicko Roze” wines.

As the bankruptcy supervisor, Zorica Mihajlovic, said for eKapija, Prokupac has substantial property in the territory of Serbia, in Sarajevo and Montenegro, and the entire movable and immovable properties of the bankruptcy debtor covered by the evaluation are put up for sale.

– This includes factory facilities, hospitality equipment, registered and unregistered agricultural land, as well as brands, which are the company’s biggest value – Mihajlovic said.

She pointed out that this was the first sale of Prokupac and that there were interested purchasers even at that moment, among which are foreign and local purchasers.

Bids may be submitted by April 11.
