Modern construction brings along various trends, and one of the dominant ones is ecological architecture. Using wood in the production process, as the main natural ingredient, and then also other renewable materials, is part of the struggle toward the protection of a healthy living environment.

When we add to it semi-finished modular units, which are packed on trucks and transported to the construction site, where they are assembled in no longer than two to five days, depending on the size of the facility, it means we are talking about Arde Line from Niska Banja.

Their pre-fabricated houses, individual or double, draw a lot of attention.

– The number of pieces of real estate in the structure of apartments-collective housing has increased in the market, whereas the offer of houses is very weak, so the demand for such facilities has certainly increased. The biggest number of inquiries we get pertains to individual family facilities and vacation houses for an occasional stay – the company says for eKapija.

They also explained to us what the advantages of pre-fabricated construction are in the system they work with. When it comes to the speed, a livable facility is produced in under three months. There’s also the great thermal power – the standard wall thickness achieves the thermal power of energy efficient structures.

– The built-in elements are made from ecological materials, so it’s healthier and more comfortable to stay in such facilities. The process of preparation of raw materials for such facilities has a much lower negative environmental impact, considering that, according to research, the production of cement is responsible for 50% of the total CO2 pollution in the world – Arde Line says.

From a family carpentry company with a long tradition in woodworking and production of façade and interior carpentry, thanks to their projects, they have grown into a company which is present in the countries of the region, but also throughout Europe. According to them, pre-fab construction is standard in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, whereas here it’s still something that causes suspicion as to its stability and durability.

– In the past years, there’s been a lot of value placed on energy preservation, and accordingly, these facilities are becoming an increasingly frequent choice in countries in Europe. This is supported by the fact that, in the past years, we have built a residential building of 1,500 m2, on four levels, in our system. We are free to say that, abroad, it’s become a standard with a trend toward overshadowing standard construction – they say.

They also offered two Arde Land projects to customers. This is a modern way of housing, which aims to provide ecological comfort, security and residential privacy to the customer. The complexes consist of four and six houses, respectively, and they are located in Nis.

– Arde Land is our first commercial project in Nis and we are very satisfied with the reactions from the market. Our aim was to do everything that we had done in the European market here as well, with the same level of quality. The construction sphere itself has progressed a lot. New materials, new technologies and construction systems are constantly appearing, but the awareness of it is changing more slowly here and there’s still the most trust in traditional construction, which is justified, as that is the most present system. We believe that the construction of these complexes is merely the beginning of pre-fab construction in Nis and in Serbia. By the end of the year, we are building one such residential complex in the Vienna area, so we are already planning new investments – they say at Arde Line.

The company’s portfolio also features office facilities, as well as multiple purpose modules – an increase of the living space, a hobby corner, a working space and so on.
