The majority owner of the water filling plant Voda Vrnjci, the company Ekstra-pet, has successfully completed the share takeover bid, thereby becoming the owner of 93% of the shares, which enables it to carry out a forced buyout of shares from the remaining minority shareholders, as announced by the brokerage house Momentum.
– The shareholders which own 5.1% of the shares have given a positive response to the offer at a price of 4,800 dinars, so Ekstra-pet has reached an ownership stake of 93.3% – the announcement says.
It is added that the book value of the share is RSD 13,428.68, but that it wasn’t relevant for the bid, because, as per the usual negative practice at the Belgrade Stock Exchange, the share got the status of a liquid share in the period immediately preceding the beginning of the consolidation of ownership.
It is now quite certain, as said, that the majority owner will carry out an enforced buyout of the shares from the remaining minority shareholders, also at the price of RSD 4,800, which is only 35.7% of the book value of the share.
At that price, the entire company is worth RSD 551 million, that is, EUR 4.7 million.
