CANSEE Organizes Business Education for Entrepreneurs – LEADER Project Serbia 2022

CANSEE, the Canadian-Serbian Business Association, has opened the contest for attending a fully-sponsored business course for entrepreneurs called LEADER (Leading Education and Development in Emerging Regions) Project Serbia 2022 – an international program which will be held from May 9 to 20 in Belgrade in cooperation with the Ivey Business School of the University of Western Ontario, the best business school in Canada, and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

This is the sixth year that CANSEE is organizing the LEADER Project, a unique Canadian education program in Serbia. Over the course of ten days, the best world practices will be shared with the attendees of the LEADER Project, with the help of five Canadian instructors from the Ivey Business School, emphasized Mirjana Doncic Beaton, Managing Director at CANSEE, the Canadian-Serbian Business Association.

The Canadian LEADER Project is an international education program, founded in 1991 by MBA students of the Ivey Business School with the aim of strengthening promising entrepreneurs to design, launch and/or develop new startups businesses.

The LEADER Project is realized through a series of MBA-style workshops, which are adapted to the profiles of the attendees and which aim to enable them to successfully develop their business ideas through top business training techniques. Since its founding, the LEADER Project has provided analytic tools and decision-making skills for the improvement of local economic conditions to thousands of promising attendees. Those who have attended so far have launched successful entrepreneurial endeavors in media, finance, professional services and many other industries.

The LEADER Project Serbia 2022 will be available to a total of 40 attendees. The contest is of an open type, and advantage is given to young entrepreneurs from Serbia who plan to or have already founded their own entrepreneurial businesses, as well as managers of startup companies. The participants will be selected from various industries, in line with the principles of gender equality. Considering the selection of the attendees, the focus of this ten-day intensive course will be on acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge important to their future development. During the course, the attendees will create, both individually and in groups, and on the final day, they will have the opportunity to present their business plans and be rated by an expert jury.
