Do You Want to Start, Maintain and Develop a Business? – Learn in the Company of the Most Successful Within the CANSEE LEADER Project Serbia 2022

The CANSEE Canadian Serbian Business Association is organizing, for the sixth time, the LEADER Project, a unique Canadian educational program in Serbia. So far, the program has been attended by more than 200 participants who work at the largest companies in Serbia (Delta Holding, Schneider Electric, Teknoxgroup, Magna Seating, Holiday Inn…), or have started their own business.

The contest for attending this annual, fully sponsored business course for entrepreneurs, LEADER Project Serbia 2022, is in progress. The international project will take place between May 9 and 20 in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Ivey Business School of the University of Western Ontario, the best business school in Canada, and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

“Business and Entrepreneurship Development Training: The Leader Project” was founded in 1991 by MBA students of the Ivey Business School with the aim of strengthening the promising entrepreneurs in border markets to devise, launch and/or develop new startups.

Through this approach, the Leader program aims to enable individuals with a high potential to develop local, regional or international business solutions which create possibilities for their communities.

At this ten-day program, the attendees have the opportunity to learn through business case studies, which are part of the Ivey MBA (Management and Business Administration) curriculum.

THE AIM OF THE PROGRAM

The aim of the Program is to educate young professionals, managers, entrepreneurs and promising entrepreneurs from Serbia about the basics of business. The attendees learn how to turn their business ideas into reality or successfully expand their existing companies in the country. With the realization of this program, we support the growth of Serbia business and entrepreneurship, which has a positive impact on the overall economic development of the country.

The program is harmonized with the mission of CANSEE to help create a prosperous economic climate and “a stronger nation”.

LEADER Project Serbia 2022 will be available to a total of 40 attendees. The contest is of an open type, and advantage is given to young entrepreneurs from Serbia who plan to found their own enterprise or have already done so, as well as managers of startups. The participants will be selected from various industries, in line with the principles of gender equality.
