The international software company Merkle announced today that, in 2022, the company’s focus in Serbia would be to create strong software teams, so an increase in the number of employees from the current 130 to 200 highly qualified software engineers is planned.

The new managing director of Merkle in Serbia, Ivan Isailovic, said on that occasion that “Serbia has been, for a long time now, one of the most attractive locations for development within Merkle Dach Group, primarily because of the large number of highly educated software engineers”.

Due to this, the company decided to go a step further and develop a regional presence in the country, the press release says.

– Since our arrival to Serbia, the Belgrade office has been recording a constant increase in the number of employees – Isailovic said.

He pointed out that “the process of opening an office in Novi Sad is in progress as well, and the opening of a representation in Nis is being considered as well”.

– Our aim is to attract and employ the biggest talents and that is why we will strengthen the brand of Merkle, which will influence the growth in the direction of seniority and quality. In addition to experienced programmers, our desire is to also find very good senior consultants – Isailovic concluded.
