Electric Fiat Panda at Facilities in Kragujevac from 2023?

The slower arrival of parts and components for the production could be a consequence of the Ukrainian crisis for Fiat Kragujevac. The production of Fiat 500 L has been stopped and will not continue until April 12. The employees don’t know what the future of the factory will be and they hope that the good news about the production of a new model, announced by the state authorities in late 2021, will finally come true.

The president of the Autonomous Trade Union of Fiat Plastic, Zoran Miljkovic, says for N1 that they have received unofficial information from the cabinet of the prime minister of Serbia that the production of Fiat will remain here, and that, from 2023, electric models will be produced, most probably Fiat Panda.

– However, these are all speculations. We are still waiting for official information – Miljkovic says.
