Prosumers Register Published

Elektrodistribucija Srbije has published the Prosumers Register, a register of the users connected to the transfer, distribution and closed distribution systems (Registar K-P), reports Energetski Portal.

The rulebook on the manner of running the Register of Purchasers-Producers connected to the transfer, distribution and closed distribution systems and the methodology for the estimate of the electrical energy produced at the prosumer’s production facility, which was adopted by the Ministry of Mining and Energy, was recently published in the Official Gazette.

The new Law on Renewable Energy Sources introduced the concept of prosumers, that is, purchasers-producers, which enables the citizens and the economy to produce electrical energy for their own needs and to transfer surplus electrical energy to the power network.
