NLB Bank and Komercijalna Banka Becoming Single Bank, Operating Under New Name

The procedure of the merging of NLB Bank and Komercijalna Banka, a member of NLB Group, has been finalized and they now operate under a new name – NLB Komercijalna Banka.

– This is the first of the last few steps in a long and demanding process of the merging of NLB Bank and Komercijalna Banka into NLB Komercijalna Banka. During the upcoming holidays, we are looking at the operational merging of the systems, for which our teams are thoroughly prepared – the president of the Executive Board of Komercijalna Banka, Vlastimir Vukovic, said in an announcement.

He added that the new NLB Komercijalna Banka remained dedicated to the strategic goal – to strengthen the service and the market leader position in Serbia and that NLB Group remained dedicated to establishing a leading position in the region.

Until May 4, NLB Komercijalna Banka’s clients will be able to use ATMs, carry out card transactions at points of sale and through digital wallets KomBank and NLB Pay, whereas certain services and operations will be temporarily unavailable.

For NLB Bank’s clients, electronic and mobile banking is not available from April 29, at 5 PM, and for Komercijalna Banka’s clients from 10 PM, until Wednesday, May 4, at the latest.

In the same period, text message notifications about card payments will not function. Online card payment is not available for Komercijalna Banka’s clients from April 29, at 10 PM, until Wednesday, May 4, at the latest, whereas, for NLB Bank’s clients, it remains available throughout.
