New Investments in Zlatibor Gold Gondola

Due to the works which will upgrade the operations and expand the capacity ahead of the summer season, the Zlatibor Gold Gondola will not work from May 9 to June 20.

At the Cajetina-based PE Gold Gondola, they are announcing extensive works on installations, the setting up of canopies at the terminals on both ends, as well as the testing of an additional 18 cabins.

Bojana Bozanic, the director of the PE Gold Gondola, explained that, since the commissioning, there had been constant investments in the upgrading and the safety of the Zlatibor gondola.

She also announced a solution for the long queues of the guests who had waited to take a ride at the start station.

– In late 2021, with the support of the Municipal Administration of Cajetina, we started negotiating with the French producer of equipment Poma about procuring 18 cabins – said Bozanic and added that, following the removal of the epidemic measures, the capacity of the cabins would be brought back to the initial ten people in one cabin, thereby also shortening the queuing times.

Furthermore, the plan, she said, is to also improve the software solutions.
