International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad from May 21

On Saturday, May 21, at the Novi Sad Fair, the 89th International Agricultural Fair is opening, where, until May 27, a total of 1,100 exhibitors from 21 countries will present themselves.

Within the fair, the visitors will again, after a two-year break due to the pandemic, during which it was organized in a virtual form, be able to view exhibits of livestock, food and drinks, and insurance companies, banks and other institutions will also present themselves to them, along with numerous business and expert gatherings.

The country-partner will be Hungary this year, and in addition to the collective stand, another 44 companies from Hungary are awaiting interested visitors, and the exhibitors will showcase their innovative products and services from the widest variety of agricultural fields.

Among the numerous collective exhibits, Morocco will have a premiere exhibition.

As announced by the fair’s management earlier, the bull named Velisa is expected to be the biggest attraction, and the most expensive machine at the fair will be a combine harvester worth EUR 450,000 of ITM Group.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Serbia has been the sponsor of the biggest National Livestock Show for years now and also of the Exhibit of Genetic Potentials since three years ago.

At the biggest National Livestock Show and the Exhibit of Genetic Potentials, the best cattle, horses, sheep, goats and poultry will be showcased, and the visitors will be able to see the indigenous species necessary for the maintenance of biodiversity, as well as the achievements in non-conventional livestock breeding.


On Thursday, May 26, the Day of Livestock Breeders, there will be a parade of the best quality head of livestock from these areas.

Under the sponsorship and organization of the Ministry of Agriculture, an exhibit of organic products, products with the designation of geographic origin “Srpski kvalitet” (“Serbian Quality”), will be held, and producers of craft beers will also be present.

A presentation of beekeepers, at Hall 23, has also been announced.

A new feature at the fair, organized ahead of the 100th anniversary, will be a retrospective of the development of agriculture in Vojvodina at Hall 3, where the visitors will be able to see how we got from hand tools to the most modern machines.
