From Gajdobra in Backa to Morocco - Switches, sockets and switch boxes made by Aling-Conel declared best Serbian export articles in 2010
The best export product of this year is made by Aling-Conel from the village of Gajdobra in Backa Palanka. That is how the jury of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) decided on the occasion of the traditional selection of the best exporters of the year.
The company has won the award for the product range of installation switches, sockets and switch boxes, which has, as the jury explained, found its way to a large number of buyers in the markets of Russia and the European Union.
As Commercial Director of that company Stojan Dangubic announced for eKapija, their products may reach the markets of Africa and South America next year.
- We are currently negotiating with an Italian company, through which we could export our products to the market of Morocco – says Dangubic.
According to his words, what is for sure for now is the appearance at a trade fair in Morocco in the first half of 2011, after which they expect to make the negotiations more concrete.
- The accent in 2011 will be put on the Russian market, which we "entered" in February 2010. We are currently present on the territory of Moscow where we offer our whole product portfolio – Dangubic says for our portal.
He adds that Aling-Conel is the first company in Serbia to launch a modular product range for residential and business interiors.
When asked if that means that the crisis, which has, according to some analyses, hit the construction industry the most, has surpassed their company, Dangubic says:
- I can say it has because we have managed to increase the production and sales growth by over 40% against 2009 by exporting our products to new markets - Romania, Slovakia and Russia.
The SIEPA Award has practically completed three decades of work of Aling-Conel, which has, during that time, developed from a small family craft store into a company that employs about 150 people.
- I hope that this award will be a good reference for our entrance to new markets in the near future – said Dangubic.
