Vucic Announces Minimum Wage of RSD 40,000 for 2023

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said last night that he would agree a minimum wage of RSD 40,000 for 2023 with the Social-Economic Council.

– We will try to work out a minimum wage of RSD 40,000, that is, EUR 340-350, with the Social-Economic Council – Vucic said on TV Pink.

He added that it would be an increase of 14-15% and that it would not jeopardize the employers.

According to him, at the end of the year, the average salaries will be EUR 710-720, and pensions will be raised twice, in November and January, by a total of 19.2-19.3%, and the money for it has been secured.


He said that he expected the gross domestic product (GDP) to be EUR 58 to 59 billion in 2022.
