Swiss "Mineko" bought Subotica-based "Fidelinka", € 10,672 million
Having bought 56.65% of assets at price of € 10,672m, Swiss company "Mineko" from Geneva became majority owner of Subotica-based company "Fidelinka".
«Fidelinka» is one of the most successful companies of mill-bakery industry in SCG. So far, it was organized as stockholding company with € 13.13 million worth of permanent assets, with participation of 61.60 % of stockholding capital in total capital. Its property consists of mills and silos in Subotica, Bajmok, Čantavir, dough factory, starch factory and factory for production of bread, baked goods and pastries, as well as about 4,000 ha of cultivable land, which is already used for farming. It encompasses production of wheat and cereals on about 12,000 ha in individual sector and 4,000 ha on its own land within working unit "Ratarstvo". Starting from 1994, Stock Company "Fidelinka" supplies its collaborators with seeds wheat, mineral fertilizers, diesel fuel and machines through its joint venture "Fidelinka - koop", which it established together with about 20 individual agricultural manufacturers. During 2002, «Fidelinka» expanded its agricultural land by purchasing agricultural company "Milivoj Lazin" from Banatsko Aranđelovo with 4,100 ha of land.
"Fidelinka" also holds property over branches in almost all bigger cities in SCG - in Belgrade, Niš, Bor, Novi Pazar, Bijelo Polje and Podgorica. Since 1995, part of its property is also Stock Company "Trgopred", which operates within working unit "Maloprodaja", with 21 retail facilities.
