OTP Group to Become Owner of Alpha Bank Albania

OTP Group announced today the finalization of the process of acquisition of Alpha Bank Albania, whereby OTP Group in Albania will become the fifth biggest bank by total assets and the third biggest creditor in Albania.

– As a result of the process of integration of the two banks, the market share, according to the total assets of OTP Group in Albania, is expected to reach 11%, and the credit portfolio is expected to increase one a half times, whereby the bank in Albania could become the third biggest bank with a share of 16.3% – the press release says.

The plan is for the initiated process of integration of OTP Bank Albania and Alpha Bank Albania to last until 2023.
