The supply of Russian gas to Germany through the NordStream gas pipeline continued this morning. According to todays’ notifications of the Russian Gazprom, the capacity of the supply is around 30%, as tweeted by the head of the German network regulator, Klaus Muller.

The gas pipeline was relaunched following the regular annual ten-day overhaul.

This gas pipeline mostly supplies gas to Germany, but also to numerous EU states.

Using the argument that they are missing the turbine which was undergoing maintenance in Canada, Gazprom reduced its deliveries to Europe by 60% in June.

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, hinted at the possibility of the gas pipeline being reopened today, but also said that it would work at a 20% capacity from the next week unless Russia got the turbine that was in Canada for repair.

That is because another turbine is supposed to be sent for regular maintenance at the end of July.
