Serbian organic producers at the Biofach 2022 fair in Nuremberg

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) in cooperation with the Swiss Export Promotion Program (SIPPO) and the National Association Serbia Organica are organizing the presentation of Serbian businesspeople, for the fourth time, at the Serbian national booth at the specialized international organic food fair "Biofach" 2022. The fair will be held from July 26 to 29 in Nuremberg, Germany.

- At this year's fair "Biofach" 2022, at the Serbian national pavilion, under the recognizable slogan "WE SPEAK ORGANIC", our organic producers will present a wide range of products from fresh, dried, freeze-dried and frozen fruits, vegetables, dried mushrooms to grain products , organic pasta, jams and fruit spreads made from organic fruit - says Bojana Lalovic from the SCC's Service for the Fair Organization. Ecoagri Serbia from Bela Crkva, Drenovac from Arilje, Menex from Kruševac, Master Food from Uzice, ITN Group and the company Nisha from Belgrade, ES Komerc from Prijepolje, Agro-bis from Blac and Frutorg from Prokuplje will present their production program. "Biofach" represents the world's largest fair in the field of organic production. It gathers over 3,000 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors from more than 130 countries. The fair is held under the auspices of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM), of which the Serbian Chamber of Commerce is a member. In addition to the international exhibition of the organic sector, it is a place of trade and business, but also a place where policies and trends in the sector are created - the SCC announced.

Over 7,000 producers are involved in organic production in Serbia, and in the previous decade, exports have increased more than fifteen times. Compared to 2020 alone, exports in 2021 have increased by 53 percent and amounted to EUR 57.4 million.
