Meggle took over Kragujevac-based Mladost dairy
Meggle Eastern Europe dairy company has taken over Kragujevac-based Mlekara Mladost (Mladost Dairy), which is in the possession of the company Silbo, while the sales contract was signed by the representatives of these companies on December 17.
The contract was signed by Dragan Jankov and Milan Stanic on behalf of Silbo and Kristijan Sedlacek, Ludwig Meltl and Marjan Vucak on behalf of the new owner of the dairy, reads the statement.
The contract was signed in the presence of Dragan Sagovnovic, a representative of the Economics Institute in Belgrade and an adviser to Silbo, and Boris Milosevic, a representative of KPMG audit company and an adviser to Meggle.
Mladost Dairy Ltd. was formed in 1954 and it was initially a public company. Silbo, one of the most successful distributors in Serbia and a long-time business partner of Meggle, privatized this dairy in 2004.
Today Mladost Dairy has over 110 employees and the daily production capacity of 80,000 liters of milk.
