A new Sava river port planned - The Government establishes a port for transshipment of oil and oil derivatives in Boljevci

In early July, the Government of Serbia has issued the Decree on establishing the port area of the special purposes wharf for the transshipment of oil and oil derivatives in Boljevci.

The Decree determines the port area of the pier will serve for transshipment of oil and oil derivatives in Boljevci in accordance with the Water Transport Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia from 2015 to 2025, in accordance with spatial and urban planning documents and the planning documents related to water management.

The port area covers an area of 37 acres and 32 m2.


The Decree states that the port area and the right of first refusal of the Republic of Serbia on the port infrastructure and superstructure, will both be registered in the real estate cadastre.

- The ministry responsible for traffic affairs will submit the necessary documentation to the competent attorney's office, which will carry out the enforcement of the notice - the document states.
