Bor to Get Sports Complex with Football Field, Running Track, Outdoor Courts and Inflatable Hall – City Looking for Designer

The City of Bor has published the tender for the preparation of project-technical documentation for the construction of the sports complex in the Metalurg community.

According to the project task, the complex will be located on four cadaster parcels and feature four units that will be built in four phases: a football field with artificial grass bordered by a running track, four acrylic tennis courts, two of which are canopied, outdoor courts for futsal, handball, basketball and volleyball and an inflatable hall with a court for handball, basketball and volleyball and a gymnastics hall.

The football field with the dimensions of 100 x 64 m and an artificial grass base will be bordered by a running track with 6 lanes. The football field will have several stand tiers (up to 5) and a side facility with two locker rooms with all the necessary elements for the athletes. Also, the documentation adds, structures such as goals and benches for spare players should be planned for the football field.

Of the four tennis courts, two will be canopied by an inflatable structure and feature two locker rooms, a room for equipment and toilets. Between the first and the second and the third and the fourth courts, two rows of stands in each gap are planned, which would provide a view to both courts. Several stand tiers are also planned between the handball and futsal courts and the outdoor basketball and volleyball courts.

The complex will have a fence, protective networks between the courts so that matches can be played at the same time, full infrastructure such as accesses to the courts, car and bus parking spaces, suitable lighting and floodlights for nighttime games.

The tender is open until August 29, and the estimated value of the job is RSD 6 million.
