Feka Automotive Planning Expansion of Production in Cuprija and New Employments – Municipality Secures 2 ha for Construction of Facility

The Turkish investor Feka Automotive plans the construction of another facility in Cuprija, next to the existing one, and the employment of more workers, according to the official website of Cuprija. As the president of the Municipality of Cuprija, Ninoslav Eric, said during the recent visit of the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Serbia, in addition to the existing one, another factory of 7,500 m2 will be built, which will amount to a total of 15,000 m2.

Upon the completion of the construction of another factory, the employment of another 370 workers is planned, says the website of city.

– For us, the people of Cuprija, it is very important, of course, also for the people of Paracin and Jagodina, because 500 workers will be employed at these two facilities – he said.

As he emphasized, “the construction will begin very fast, as soon as this month, because Feka has signed an agreement with Stellantis on the production of components for electric cars, which will be made in Kragujevac from 2024, so the new factory facility in the Industrial Zone Minel will need to be completed by September next year”.

Eric also added that the Municipality of Cuprija had already secured an additional 2 ha for the construction of the new factory of the Turkish investor.
