American Electric Car Manufacturer Rivian to Open Development Center in Belgrade and Employ 200 Engineers

Rivian, a manufacturer of electric adventure vehicles (pickup trucks and all-terrain vehicles) today announced officially that it would open its R&D center in Belgrade with the intention of employing local technical staff and engineers from the automotive industry.

The idea is for the center to initially employ around 200 people in positions in the field of advanced technologies related to the automotive industry, such as mapping, infotainment advanced driver aid systems and IT services.

In Serbia, the company will operate under the name Rivian SE Europe doo Beograd.

Cindy Nicola, the vice president of Talent Acquisiton at Rivian, stated for Netokracija that their desire was to create a modern tech center in Serbia, which would contribute to bringing leading products and services to the world market.

Hiring begins today and job positions for Serbia are already available on the rivian.com/careers website.
