There are no plans for power cuts and there will be no postponement of the beginning of the heating season, the state will secure enough energy and energy sources for the economy and households, and the recommendations of the ministry for the lowering of energy consumption have been adopted so as to pay less for the import of electricity in the winter, Jovanka Atanackovic, the state secretary of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, said for Euronews.

– The ministry had provided recommendations, which are exactly that – recommendations. None of them are binding, there are no sanctions if they are not complied with. That is a suggestion by the ministry and we appealed to the public administration, public companies and local self-governments as well to make their consumption reduction plans – she said.
