Prices of Agricultural and Fishing Products Increase by About 35% Compared to August Last Year

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in August 2022, compared to the same month of 2021, were increased by 35.3% average, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Observed by main product groups, compared to the same month of the previous year, the biggest impact on the rise in prices was noted in the groups: Cereals (53.6%) and Animals (44.4%).

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in August 2022, compared to July 2022, were increased by 1.3% average.

Observed by main product groups in August 2022, compared to the previous month, the biggest impact on the rise in prices was noted in the group Industrial crops (10.4%).

Producer prices of agricultural and fishing products in period January-August 2022, compared to same period 2021, on average increased by 26.6%.

Observed by main groups of products, in period January-August 2022 compared to same period 2021, the biggest impact on the rise in prices was noted in the groups: Cereals (37.2%) and Animals (27.4%), as shown by the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
