Telekom Srbija Group Launches Business in Switzerland – First MTEL Switzerland Branch Providing Mobile Phone and TV Services in Zurich Area

The company MTEL Switzerland, a new member of Telekom Srbija Group, has officially started working. The first store in Switzerland was opened by the CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lucic, and the CEO of MTEL Switzerland, Stefan Bozic, announced Telekom Srbija.

The offer will consist of prepaid and postpaid tariffs, roaming packages and TV channels from the former Yugoslavia region, the press release says.

– The beginning of providing services in Switzerland is the continuation of the execution of our strategy, which entails the expansion of business operations in countries of Europe and the world, primarily in countries with large diasporas from our whole region – said Lucic.

The CEO of MTEL Switzerland, Stefan Bozic, said that the strategic partner SALT had enabled the implementation of the so-called MTEL Zone – a unified zone for calls and internet usage is Serbia, B&H, Montenegro and Austria within the networks which belong to Telekom Srbija Group.

The country manager of MTEL Switzerland, Mirza Tahirovic, said that the plan was to open a larger number of points of sale and added that the services of the new company were available at the distributors and on the website www.mtel.ch at that moment.

Currently the youngest member of Telekom Srbija Group, MTEL Switzerland, will not carry that status for long, because the further expansion of the operations of Telekom Srbija Group is expected soon, to Germany by the end of the year, and then to the United States of America, the press release concludes.
