German IGB Automotive to Open Facility with 200 Workers in Lajkovac

The German company IGB Automotive, a producer of car parts, will start the initial production in Lajkovac at the beginning of November, and then employ 200 people, announced the municipal administration.

As emphasized, the production will start soon, because the company has found a suitable hall owned by the Lajkovac-based company Sani Komerc.

– The recruiting and selection of the future workers, of whom 90% will be women, has started already and will be followed by training – it has been clarified.

The general manager of IGB Automotive in Serbia, Dalibor Beric, pointed out that the production unit Lazarevac and the production unit Lajkovac would make a final product together – car seat heaters, about 200,000 a week.
