Nelt to Open Confectionery Factory in Angola

Nelt will open a confectionery factory in Angola, said the corporate communications manager at Nelt Group, Marko Milankovic.

Over EUR 20 million was invested in the production facility, and the factory will open on Wednesday, October 26, Milankovic said for Bloomberg Adria TV.

– In the past three years, we have worked a lot on the construction of this factory, which will be the first big factory of its type in Angola – he added.

The company is present in other markets in Africa, where it employs over 400 workers, Milankovic says and adds that there have so far not been any major factors (aside from complicated bureaucratic procedures) in any of the countries that might have a negative impact on the business operations.

Problems regarding distribution are present, but they are not characteristic of African markets exclusively, Milankovic believes and adds that companies from the Adria Region are adapting fast to the changes that have occurred.
