Internet Used by 100% Companies for Business Operations in Serbia

For the purposes of business operations, the internet is used in Serbia by 100% companies, whereas 84.9% own a website, according to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. In 2021, 28.0% companies sold products/services online.

When it comes to households, 83.2% have an internet connection, which is an increase of 1.7% compared to 2021, as said on the website of the Statistical Office.

The presence of computers in households is 77.0%, which is an increase of 0.3% compared to last year.

As for the type of internet connection – 90.9% users of the internet use a fixed broadband connection, which is the most represented type of connection, and 74.4% households have a mobile broadband internet connection. A total of 83.2% households has a broadband internet connection.

In the past three months, 75.9% persons have used a computer, which is a 1.1% increase compared to 2021. Research has shown that the internet has been used by 83.5% persons, whereas 10.6% persons have never used it. In Serbia, over 3,990,000 persons that have used the internet in the past three months use the internet multiple times during the day in 2022.
