Unregistered Merger of Three Security Companies – Commission for Protection of Competition to Launch Procedure

– In its inspection procedures, the commission will assess the law-proscribed criteria which determine whether the concentration is allowed and especially the circumstance that these are carried out, but not unregistered concentrations, which was the obligation of the participants in the market. The law proscribes that concentrations of participants in the market are allowed unless they significantly limit, jeopardize or prevent competition in the market of Serbia, and especially if they do so as a result of obtaining or strengthening the dominant position – the commission says.
They add that they will also determine the important facts, proofs and other elements on which they will base their decision regarding the potential setting of competition protection measures, that is, deconcentration measures.
– The decision based on which the procedures have been initiated invite all persons who have the data, authorization documents or other relevant information that could contribute to determining the actual facts in these procedures to submit them, without delay, to the Commission for Protection of Competition – the commission appeals in its decision.
