Boston Dynamics Announces Founding of Artificial Intelligence Institute – Potential Cooperation with AI Institute Too

Boston Dynamics, the world’s most famous robotics company might found an artificial intelligence institute, which would enable potential cooperation with the AI Institute and scientists in Serbia, said Marc Raibert, the company’s chairman, during his meeting with the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, as said on the website of the Government of Serbia.

Brnabic and Raibert discussed opening a branch of this company for research and development in Serbia.

Brnabic stated that IT is the fastest growing sector in Serbia, and recalled that our country has done a lot in the past ten years in terms of artificial intelligence, biotechnology and block chain technology.

The Prime Minister added that it is necessary to continue investing in IT sector.

As pointed out on the website of the Government of Serbia, artificial intelligence was the focus of the meeting between Prime Minister Brnabic and a delegation of the state-owned company Temasek from Singapore, which manages over USD 450 billion in the fields of artificial intelligence and block chain technologies.

The Prime Minister of Serbia also met with President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun, with whom she discussed potential economic investments.
