Hungary: Druzhba Oil Pipeline Working Again

The Hungarian minister of foreign affairs, Peter Szijjarto, stated yesterday that, following the repair, the flow through the pipeline for Russian oil through Ukraine to countries of Central Europe had continued.

Szijjarto said that the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure this Tuesday stopped the supply with oil for some countries of Central Europe.

He said that the quick repair of the Druzhba oil pipeline had enabled the oil to flow again, but at a low pressure.

The Druzhba gas pipeline is one of the longest ones in the world. It transports Russian oil to Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia and other countries.
