Tender for Selection of Port Operator at Oil Reloading Terminal in Boljevci in Progress

Last week, the Port Governance Agency opened the tender for the selection of the port operator for the carrying out of port activities at the terminal for special purposes for the reloading of oil and oil products in Boljevci, in the Belgrade municipality of Surcin.

One of the selection criteria is the economically most favorable offer, and according to the tendering documentation, the amount of the compensation for the operating use of the terminal may not be lower than EUR 15,000 a year.

An investment plan for the construction and maintenance of port infrastructure and suprastructure is also cited as an obligation.

The authorization for the execution of port activities is issued for a period of 10 years at the most.

The tender expires on November 30.

In early July, the Government of Serbia issued the Decree on establishing the port area of the special purposes wharf for the transshipment of oil and oil derivatives in Boljevci.

The Decree determines the port area of the pier will serve for transshipment of oil and oil derivatives in Boljevci in accordance with the Water Transport Development Strategy of the Republic of Serbia from 2015 to 2025, in accordance with spatial and urban planning documents and the planning documents related to water management.

The port area covers an area of 37 ares and 32 m2.

The Decree states that the port area and the right of first refusal of the Republic of Serbia on the port infrastructure and suprastructure, will both be registered in the real estate cadaster.
