Third Multifunctional Airbus Helicopter Super Puma Delivered to Base of Serbian Police Helicopter Unit (VIDEO)

The third multifunctional Airbus Super Puma X-215 helicopter has been delivered to the base of the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, whereby this unit has been strengthened and modernized with one of the best aircraft of this type.

The Airbus Super Puma X-215 helicopter is characterized by a system of digital avionics, a 4-axis autopilot, and the maximum speed is 252 kilometers per hour, as announced on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The maximum take-off weight-bearing capacity of the helicopter is 9,300 kilograms, and this aircraft is also characterized by the possibility of transporting 22 passengers, a lock for the carrying of an external load and fire-fighting buckets, as well as a lateral lift with a load-bearing capacity of 272 kilograms.

Also, the Super Puma X-215 helicopter has a searchlight for the identification of objects on the ground, a medical kit for first aid and an urgent medical evacuation of several persons, equipment for flights under the conditions of potential freezing and the possibility of night flights.

The commander of the Helicopter Unit, Nenad Nedic, emphasized that these were helicopters which could contribute a lot to fighting fires, considering the bucket capacity of four and a half tons of water.
