Momirovic: Prices of Basic Foodstuffs to Remain the Same, But Prices of Other Products to Increase

The prices of basic foodstuffs will not change, but the prices of other products will increase, the minister of domestic and foreign trade of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, stated this morning.

He said that “bread is a bigger priority than deodorant”.

– We have managed to freeze the prices of sugar, flour, oil, milk, beef and pork leg and have the prices of those products be, if not the lowest, then among the lowest ones – Momirovic said for TV Prva.

He said that they couldn’t control all the prices, because the war between Ukraine and Russia had caused a crisis in the whole Europe.

He added that it would not be responsible for him to talk about what would become more expensive in the next period.
