In addition to the existing foreign factories in Nis, by the end of the year, according to the announcements made by mayor Dragana Sotirovski, the Czech-Belgian company VGP should also start construction activities. The mayor says that the company, along with the Austrian Palfinger, has been pronounced an investment of national interest and that the paperwork is being arranged at the moment.

The Czech-Belgian company VGP, which leases industrial space, according to the mayor’s announcements, should start building by the end of the year. She says that the company has its own land in the industrial zone, on which facilities for lease should be built.

– They have around 150,000 square meters in the industrial zone, and of that space, 68,000 square meters will be under the facilities – Sotirovski said and added that she hoped that they would commence their activities in 2023, as the missing paperwork was being prepared for them.
