Four offers for HIP Azotara from Pančevo
The Privatization Agency announced yesterday that four offers had arrived for procurement of company HIP-Azotara (Fertilizer factory) from Pančevo. The offers for procurement of 100% of assets of Pančevo-based Azotara were delivered by: Agrofert holding A. S from Prague, Nitrogenmuvek Rt. from Hungary, consortium made of Farmakom MB Šabac and Sojaprotein from Bečej, as well as consortium made of Univerzal-Holding Belgrade - UAB Arvi Lithuania and Joint Lithuania - USA Venture Sanitex Lithuania. The Agency states that the offer has also been delivered by consortium First Hungarian natural gas and energy trading and service provider LTD - Emfesz Hungary, but the tender commission, on the basis of opinion of the councillor of the Privatization Agency, stated that its offer did not meet the terms of the tender, so that it would not be taken into consideration. According to the Privatization Agency, the tender documentation for HIP Azotara was bought by nine potential investors. Financial and legal advisers of the Privatization Agency will evaluate the offers within 30 days from the opening of bids.
