Soon tender for sale of FAP

Automobile Factory FAP in Priboj, which entered restructuring process in 1999, was left by over 3,000 workers. At the beginning of March, another 350 workers will leave this factory, which used to be license partner of German Mercedes for two decades. The workers will get the severance pays of €200 per year of work. The workers are left to decide whether to apply for voluntary leave with severance pay, which should be provided by the Government of Serbia and FAP. The deadline is February 25. during the last few months, 350 workers applied for voluntary leave. The management of FAP invited Ministry of Economy Predrag Bubalo to come to the factory and convince himself of its potentials before the announcement of tender for sale of FAP, which should take place in spring.
