Last Year’s External Trade Between Serbia and Croatia Higher by 53%

Last year, Serbia and Croatia realized external trade worth EUR 2.047 billion, which is an increase by 53% compared to 2021, that is, an increase by EUR 710 million.

According to the data of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, which the Hrvatska Rijec weekly from Subotica cites, last year, Serbia exported goods and services worth EUR 1.154 billion to Croatia, which is around 70% more compared to the same period in 2021.

The import to Serbia from Croatia grew in 2022 by EUR 237 million to EUR 897.2 million, an increase by 35.9% compared to 2021.

Last year, Serbia mostly exported electrical energy, mineral fertilizers, sunflower oil, socks, petroleum oil, transportation products, plastic goods packaging, rail vehicle parts, pasta, furniture, chocolate and cocoa products, nitrogen fertilizers, bread, baked goods, cakes and cookies to Croatia.

In 2022, the products most imported to Serbia from Croatia were electrical energy, soybean, paper and cardboard, cement, glass containers for the packing of goods, oil from petroleum and bitumen ozone minerals, air pumps, compressors, meat products, cables and other electrical conductors.
