First Hotel Housekeeping Convention in Southeast Europe in Vrnjacka Banja in Late March

For the first time in the history of our hotel industry, on March 30-31 in Hotel Fontana in Vrnjacka Banja, organized by “The Ambassadors of Good Service” and with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, the regional Hotel Housekeeping Convention will be held, with a mission to open wide the channels of regional cooperation, to connect colleagues on the same task and with the same desire to grow in their profession by improving their knowledge and practical skills, thereby contributing to the competitiveness, reputation and business success of their hotels, but also inevitably the quality of the hotel offer in our region, its image and its better position on the tourist map of the world.

That is why the focus of the convention will be on service quality and employees – the most sensitive issues in all hotel houses, and it will be held under the topic of Hotel Housekeeping in a Technological Vortex, which points to serious care about the future of the hotel industry in the region.

In a dynamic and interesting two-day program, the speakers will include reputable professors of hotel management and hotel consultants, guest lecturers and the best practitioners – successful general managers of branded hotels and managers of hotel households, representatives of the accompanying economy from the whole region…

They will inform the participants in the convention about the current trends and the announced trends, about artificial intelligence, new technologies, standards and products, new knowledge and practical skills which contribute to personal and professional development, the raising of hotel service quality, as well as the creation of strong teams of satisfied people who are the symbol of every serious brand. Exclusively, the winner of the biggest annual excellence award (in the HH category) “J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence” will be the guest lecturer at the Convention.

Examples of good business practice and precious personal experiences will be exchanged, whereas the crown of the two-day convention will be the panel: Future of Housekeeping from the Angle of Strategic Management, not just because the GMs of hotels from Serbia and the region will define the biggest problems in housekeeping, but also strive to propose applicable solutions and help provide a clearer overview of which direction the development of the hotel industry in the region is expected to go in.
