Light metro to cross future bridge across Ada Ciganlija - height - 200 m, length - 980 m and width - 45.2 m ?

Future bridge across Ada Ciganlija will be in the spirit of the most modern world achievements, but by no means their copycat, says Maribor-based Projecting Company "Ponting", of which preliminary solution was the best on the recent open competition. Having supporting pillar, pylon, 200 m high, the bridge will very soon become new symbol of Belgrade.

Authorized people from "Ponting" pointed out that the bridge was of single shape, centrally settled with the form of regular cone, and added that light metro would be crossing it. Projected shape of pylon is more economic and simpler for construction. The bridge is 200 m high, 980 m long and 45.2 m wide.

Three lanes will be constructed in each direction on the bridge across the Sava river. Two lanes will be used by light metro. Architects did not forget pedestrians.
